AOI SNT-03 Optical Snoot

The AOI SNT-03 is a specialized underwater photography accessory designed to shape and control light from strobes in macro and detail shooting. It’s an optical snoot that mounts on AOI’s UCS-Q1 series strobes, narrowing and directing the light into a tight beam to isolate subjects and reduce background illumination — ideal for close-up shots where highlighting tiny critters or details matters. The SNT-03 offers stepless, one-hand adjustable beam size ranging from about 4 mm to 30 mm, letting you dial in a fine pinpoint of light or a slightly broader spot depending on the subject and creative intent. Built from black hard-anodized aluminum and PC materials, it’s compact (≈ 83 mm diameter × 169 mm length), lightweight (≈ 262 g), and includes a lanyard for secure handling underwater.
